Through story, craft, clay, and nature children will explore their emotions, learn simple calming strategies, and discover their inner strengths — all while having fun and working together in a supportive group.

About the Workshop

This workshop is designed to give kids the chance to:

  • Learn about their brain and emotions in a fun, creative way

  • Practice simple strategies to manage big feelings

  • Build resilience, teamwork, and self-confidence

  • Connect with nature and their creativity

The Nitty Gritty

  • Date & Time: Friday 3rd October 9am - 12pm

  • Cost: $99 per child (materials included)

  • Age: 6 - 8 years old

  • Group size: Small group to ensure individual attention (max 6 kids)

  • What to bring: A water bottle, morning tea, hat, and clothes that can get messy

  • Location: Lachlan Valley Psychology & Wellbeing 171-175 Rankin Street, Forbes (opposite Colin McKenzie Park, diagonal to the Bowling Club greens).
